The LINE Mini App add-friend option now lets developers switch among allowlisted LINE Official Accounts depending on the user.
Changes
- Allows displaying an appropriate LINE Official Account from a pre-registered allowlist as the add-friend target based on the user's situation
- Requires the LINE Mini App channel's service region to be Japan in addition to standard add-friend option requirements
- A September 2, 2026 correction removed the erroneous requirement that the LINE Mini App must be a verified mini app
- Using the feature requires configuration in the LINE Developers Console and implementation in the LINE Mini App to switch accounts
